The Hankook DynaPro AS RH03 is an all-season tire designed for SUVs, vans, and light trucks. It offers a smooth and pleasant driving experience, making it a popular choice for drivers and manufacturers.

The tires come with solid shoulder ribs to provide responsive handling and better tread wear. Additionally, it has robust footprints to evenly distribute pressure, which results in better acceleration, shorter braking distance, and slower wear.

As an all-season tire, it is reliable in most weather conditions, including light snow.

But how does the Hankook DynaPro AS RH03 performs in all weather conditions?

Let’s find out.

Is the Hankook DynaPro AS RH03 Good for Rain and Snow?

The Hankook DynaPro AS RH03 comes with circumferential grooves and high sipe density treads to increase grip on wet road conditions. It also reduced the risk of hydroplaning — giving drivers more confidence when driving in bad weather.

However, the handling and traction on snow and ice are not as good. Some drivers experienced issues with accelerating and braking when driving in heavy snow.

So when it comes to heavy snow and ice, the Hankook DynaPro AS RH03 isn’t the best tire for that.

Is the Hankook DynaPro AS RH03 Good for Dry Weather?

Yes! You can expect the Hankook DynaPro AS RH03 to excel in dry weather.

Again, the circumferential grooves help secure traction and handling, specifically on dry roads.

What’s more, the interlocking intermediate rib reduces the road noise. So you can expect ride comfort, too.

Is the Hankook DynaPro AS RH03 Quiet?

As we mentioned above, the Hankook DynaPro AS RH03 provides a quiet and comfortable ride.

However, on rough pavement, the noise is noticeable. Keep in mind that we said “noticeable”. It isn’t too loud, but it isn’t completely quiet either.

So if you’re driving off-road, expect to hear some noise.

Here are some common vehicles that fit the Hankook DynaPro AS RH03:

As you might expect, the Hankook DynaPro AS RH03 is quite pricey. One tire can cost anywhere between $175 to $215.

That said, the quality of the tire is definitely worth the price.

Hankook DynaPro AS RH03 Warranty

What we like about Hankook is that they offer good warranties on their tires.

For the DynaPro AS RH03, Hankook offers a 6-year limited 50,000 miles treadwear warranty on P-metric tires and 40,000 miles on the LT-metric tires.

There is also a 1-year warranty for the first 2/32” of wear. For workmanship and materials, there is a 5-year warranty or free replacement on the first year or first 2/32” of wear. A prorated amount is given on the remaining depth.

For P-metric tires, there’s a 1-year manufacturer’s road hazard warranty for the first 2/32” wear.

As you can see, you get a lot of great warranties lined up for you.

That said, it’s important to ask your dealer about warranties. There are some tire shops that don’t include these great warranties.

So if you don’t want to be caught by surprise, ask about the warranty. And if you’re unsure what all these warranties mean, make sure they give it to you in layman’s terms. This way, you know what you can avail yourself of if the time comes.

Should You Get the Hankook DynaPro AS RH03?

If you drive in dry weather conditions and smooth roads, then the Hankook DynaPro AS RH03 is a great choice. You won’t regret it.

However, you should be aware of its weaknesses, too. And as we saw, it isn’t the best for handling snow and ice.

Take into consideration the issues you might experience with braking or accelerating during winter.

What’s more, if you drive in gravel, mud, light snow, or dirt, you will hear a bit of noise.

But if you’re okay with that, then definitely go ahead!

It’s YOUR choice!

So should you get the Hankook DynaPro AS RH03?

Only you can answer that.
