As the name suggests, the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 is an on-/off-road, all-terrain tire that is made for jeeps, SUVs, and pickup trucks.

This tire is developed and designed to deliver outstanding durability and year-round traction. Moreover, the tire’s tread compound provides twice the lifespan as compared to the previous generation’s tire.

The compound is molded into an aggressive all-terrain pattern, which features off-road durability and traction, along with on-road handling and decent tire noise.

Is the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 Good for Rain and Snow?

The BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 is branded with the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol. With this, you can trust that it will perform well during the winter.

However, this isn’t a dedicated winter/snow tire that levels the performance needed for heavy snow.

But as this tire prioritizes more on-/off-road performance, it still maximizes efficient capabilities in light snow.

As for the rainy season, it performs great, too. The tire’s optimized tread design improves your driving on wet or icy pavements. This design also delivers 10% more traction on mud and 19% more traction on snow.

Is the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 Good for Dry Weather?

Yes, the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 is designed to provide all-around on-/off-road performance.

The tire’s upper shoulder features Sidewall Armor and a tougher sidewall rubber compound, twice as thick as its predecessor. This increases traction for rock climbing in dry seasons.

The Serrated Shoulder Design provides even more traction, which allows for steering control in deep dirt, sand, or rocky surfaces.

Moreover, the All-Terrain T/A KO2 is labeled “DT” and uses a tread compound that improves wear and chip and tear gravel resistance.

Is the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 Quiet?

Most all-terrain tires do not prioritize ride comfort. But surprisingly, thanks to the improved design, the All-Terrain T/A KO2 is much quieter compared to its predecessor.

The tread design and tread block phasing mean tire noise won’t be a distraction.

This is what makes it a big PLUS, as BFGoodrich didn’t compromise ride comfort for heavy-duty on/off-road performance.
